So, Google Home can find most Bluetooth speakers even you do not manually enable the pairing mode. I assume this is a bug in the google nest speaker. Its really frustrating and could easily be fixed if google just added an aux output like any other smart speaker... The only way to fix this is to disconnect the bleutooth dongle from google home nest, reconnect, and then play music. Once again, if I stop the music, and play it again, the issue returns. It will continue playing until you decide to pause or stop playing the song from any of these devices.

It is easy to pair your home mini with an existing speaker and works seamlessly without any special setup required.
You can listen to audio files you've saved locally or from apps that Google Home isn't supporting. You can even stream movies on your phone or laptop and use the speaker for the audio to get that multimedia room feel. This will remove your Bluetooth speaker from the paired device list. You'll need to pair and connect this speaker to use it again.
